  Yukatas
The
yukata is a Japanese summer kimono made of cotton worn by
both men and
women. The name yukata comes from the word "yu"
(bath) and "katabira" (under clothing ).
Our yukatas
are handmade in small batches from specially imported Japanese
fabrics. The
full-length design is simple, with deep sleeves which can
be used like pockets to store the tie belt.
Our range
is continuously changing. If we do not have the size or the
colour scheme you want in stock we will do our best to find
a similar fabric for you. It may take from 2 - 4 weeks from
ordering.
The ladies
yukata fits all sizes up to UK18. The
width is the same but the length varies (Short, Medium, Long).
The men's
yukata comes in three sizes, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
The width is 26" (66 cm) for Medium and Large and 27"
( 69 cm) for Extra Large. Our new range of men's yukatas are
just being made from a new delivery of Japanese fabrics. More
photographs will be published shortly.
